What the application does
After alignment on a known star, the application displays the direction and offset required to reach the selected target.
Practical astronomy
AstroHopper Pulsraider helps move a telescope manually toward stars and deep-sky objects by measuring changes in smartphone orientation.
The application opens in a new tab to preserve sensor permissions, PWA installation and offline operation.
After alignment on a known star, the application displays the direction and offset required to reach the selected target.
It does not drive the motors or connect to AstroFi Wi-Fi. It uses the phone gyroscope, gravity sensor and optional compass.
The PWA can be added to the home screen and remains available offline after the initial load.
